Dance This 2007 Project Complete

The “DANCE this… 2007” project is now completed.

This is normally what one of my completed projects look like. When it is all said and done there are 5 different versions.

A copy for the client, a copy for the duplicators, a copy that is just the Documentary, a copy that is just the 1 minute Lobby Loop, and a disc (not pictured) with Documentary and Lobby Loop uncompressed straight out of final cut pro.

The Duplicators Copy has a separate disc containing the Disc Art. The gold, un-labled discs are archival DVD’s that aren’t suppose to be played or touched. Short of a glass-master, which I have never had to have done for a client, this is the best I can do to archive the project. The raw project files, the FCP and STP tracks are archived as well. Media Manager in Final Cut Pro is used to trim all the excess files (Video, Audio, Stills, etc.) that weren’t used in the final edit and then that is saved as one Complete Project onto a dedicated hard drive used just for completed projects. If I ever need to get to that project and output, redo, re-title, re-color, remaster the sound, etc. I have those files to mess with.
